Welcome to Wonder Valley Hot Springs, a restorative sanctuary on sixty acres of expansive, desert land in the heart of the Mojave Desert. Just 2½ hours from Los Angeles, our 25 acre oasis attracts guests seeking a digital detox, romantic getaway, solo travel, family gathering, artist’s retreat, or healing journey.
Near the north entrance of Joshua Tree National Park, we’ve welcomed more than 5,000 guests from around the world who've come to reconnect with nature.
Each of our 14 unique homes has been lovingly renovated and reimagined with a blend of bohemian design and modern amenities, and includes five acres of private land and its own outdoor geothermal mineral-soak tub to unwind under the stars or watch an exquisite sunrise.

SOAK
Our outdoor healing soaks can be booked by the hour or enjoyed from your house rental’s own private bath. Hand-carved from granite boulders sourced in Indonesia, each soaking tub is distinct in its shape and size, and connected to a geothermal mineral hot spring 340 feet below the ground.
The water is rich in silica, calcium, lithium, and magnesium, and the temperature can be adjusted to your liking.

Hello, friends! We’re Doug and Sivan, shepherds of Wonder Valley Hot Springs.
Doug had a vision to create his own natural hot springs near Joshua Tree, and Sivan came from Amsterdam on an intuitive adventure that led her to the Mojave Desert. Together, we transformed old homestead cabins into a serene desert paradise, complete with geothermal-heated mineral baths, modern amenities, and globally inspired interiors.
For us, Wonder Valley Hot Springs is more than a retreat — it’s our home. We live and raise our children here, and have watched a small dream grow into a sanctuary that has hosted thousands of visitors from around the world. Every detail embraces and honors all that nature provides: peace, presence, and a connection to the rhythms of the desert.
